New TATA Truck Represents Future Success for Wells of Life

In February of 2010, an anonymous donor purchased a new TATA Motors truck to be used to transport the compressor pump for well construction. After placing the order and months of waiting for the shipment, in July, Wells of Life officers based in Uganda received the truck. read more >>

Wells of Life Partners with A Way to Help to Build Ten New Water Wells in Northern Uganda

June 29, 2010 - Laguna Beach, CA – In August of this year, the nonprofit, Wells of Life, will partner with A Way to Help and Victory Outreach Ministries (VOM) to install ten new wells in Northern Uganda. A Way to Help and VOM identified villages in desperate need of a consistent, reliable source of clean water and called upon Wells of Life to complete the drilling and installation process. Wells of Life and the University of the Southwest SIFE team join forces to construct three new critically needed wells in Africa.

Laguna Beach, Calif. March 25, 2010. Wells of Life, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean drinking water to thousands of sub-Saharan Africans, has recently teamed up with University of the Southwest’s SIFE team for a fundraising walk/run event. The event is scheduled for April 24, 2010, with the goal of raising money and spreading awareness for those throughout East Africa who lack access to clean drinking water. Wells of Life and its parent organization, Fields of Life, worked tirelessly throughout 2009 with their teams in order to kick off the construction of multiple new water wells in Uganda. Since the start of the new year, four new water wells have been built, keeping both organizations on track of their goal of constructing 100 new water wells by the end of 2010.
