Laguna Beach Based Marketing Agency, Brilliant Blue, Commits to Saving Lives in Africa by Donating $50,000 to Local Non-Profit Organization, Wells of Life

Laguna Beach, Calif. October 9, 2009. Brilliant Blue, an established leader in the brand, interactive, and marketing world, eagerly announced their support for Wells of Life, a non profit organization devoted to improving drinking water conditions in East Africa. Brilliant Blue has agreed to commit over $50,000 in support towards the cause.

Each year, millions of fatalities and sicknesses are directly linked to either a lack of water or unsanitary drinking water conditions. As a result, between 2 million to 5 million deaths are caused per year. In the developing world 1.1 billion people do not have access to clean and safe water.

Since 2007, Wells of Life has drilled more than forty wells, creating community access to clean and safe drinking water for African villages.  "Our organization is committed to building 1,000 wells within the next ten years," states Nick Jordan, who is the co-founder of the organization and a highly respected Orange County luxury real estate Broker (www.nickjordangroup.com).

Brilliant Blue is working closely with Wells of Life to raise awareness, support, and funds towards helping the cause. Brilliant Blue has taken initiative to head the marketing strategy, brand building, and interactive web development necessary in order to encourage more community members, businesses, families, and individuals to get involved with Wells of Life's intentions.

"The fact that a child dies every 15 seconds as a result of some kind of waterborne disease may sound unfathomable, but for African community members, it is a harsh reality," states Brilliant Blue's CEO, Peter Ashworth. "This is a mission we feel strongly about. My staff and I are committed to helping prevent deaths from water related shortages and sanitation issues."
